WHAT IS THE RESIDENCE PERMIT?

Foreigners can stay for up visa or visa exemption period in Turkey. Foreigners who wish to stay in our country for a longer period of time must obtain a residence permit in accordance with the Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection. Residence permit is an official document that entitles foreigners to reside in the Republic of Turkey.

The authority to grant a residence permit is the provincial / district Directorate of Migration Management, and it is important that the documents are fully prepared in order for the application to be concluded positively. HOW TO GET A RESIDENCE PERMIT?

In residence permit applications, one of the most important issues is the right application according to the purpose of the foreigner's stay. According to the Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection, foreigners can obtain short-term residence permit, family residence permit, student residence permit, long-term residence permit, humanitarian residence permit and human trafficking residence permit. However, it is obligatory for the foreigner to present the necessary and supporting documents in order to obtain the residence permit. The documents to be requested for application time vary according to the type of residence permit.

The residence permit is issued for a certain period of time, and before the residence permit expires (60), the foreigner must apply for a residence permit at any time and in any case before the residence permit expires.

Residence permit cards of foreigners whose residence permit applications are evaluated positively are printed and sent to their residence addresses via PTT. If the foreigner is abroad, delivery is carried out by our legal representative lawyers.
