WHAT IS THE WORK PERMIT?
According to the International Labor Act No. 6735, foreign individuals who works in Turkey Family, Labor and Social Services must receive the work permit document issued by the Ministry. Work permit applications domestically Family, the Ministry of Labor and Social Services, which is from abroad or foreign nationals legally resident in the country as the Republic of Turkey is made to the embassy or consulate.

HOW TO GET WORK PERMIT?
Before explaining the conditions for obtaining a work permit, it is worth noting that the foreigner cannot obtain a work permit on his behalf. Thus, the foreigners who want to get a work permit in Turkey, first of all, need to find a business that employs him.
Work permit applications are made through the workplace where the foreigner will work and both workplace and the foreigner must meet the criteria demanded by the relevant Ministry. So what are the criteria for work permit evaluation? Which foreigners do not apply Work Permit Evaluation Criteria?
WORK PERMIT EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Workplaces wishing to employ foreign nationals are required to employ at least 5 Turkish nationals. If more than one foreign national personnel will work in a workplace, 5 Turkish citizens must be employed for each foreigner.
- Foreigners wishing to obtain a work permit as a partner of the company are requested to have a capital share of at least 40,000.00 Turkish Liras and this share must meet at least 20% of the company's capital.
- The capital of the workplace to employ foreigners must be at least 100,000.00 Turkish Liras. In case the company does not meet the capital requirement, gross sales or export amount in the last year are examined. In this case, gross sales should be at least 800,000.00 Turkish Lira or at least 250,000.00 USD in the last year.
- The monthly salary to be paid to foreign personnel must be in accordance with the position of the foreigner. The minimum wage is taken as the basis when determining the wage.
FOREIGNERS THAT WILL NOT APPLY EVALUATION CRITERIA
